Kailee is such a talker, blah blah blah blah blah.
Her favorite sayings: " I don't like it too much" "Gio, stop licking me", "wake up mommy!", "can i watch mobies?" "what's foh dinnah?" <-- saying this at breakfast and lunch time. " I'm sheepy", & "I neeh help, mommy" and constantly saying " i want belle, beeyudee and da bees" or "liddle mermaid" Those are her favorite disney movies or "mobies" lol.
Mommy has been busy busy busy. My outcall massage business is growing. I finished the kitchen remodel. I'm the incredible shrinking woman. I've gone from 148-150ish to 132. Woot woot! Go me! Also exciting news! I'm planning on applying to the new Disney hotel, Aulani. The spa is hiring and I've got lots of friends who've referred me. I'm excited! Wish me luck! Now I'll leave you with some pictures

I'm back home now with the itch to fix my house... a really bad itch. I need to get this place in shape! I need to sell out old dining table/bar to make space for a cute storage basket-y area. We have too much stuff and this way it'll be nicely organized and hidden in baskets. Also need to do some things in the kitchen. I'd like to paint the cabinets and change the hardware. Then the big project is the downstairs bathroom. Tear down this weird dividing wall, tear out the old over sized sink/counter top. I would probably get a pedestal sink and then build some storage above the washer/dryer, and leave some space for folding laundry. Gotta save up!!!

I still love being a Massage Therapist even after 7 1/2 years of doing it. It's been quite busy lately. Juggling the spa and my out call business.
I love photography. I'm so excited for what the future holds. In a few weeks I'll be asking around for volunteers to be my models. Family, Couples, children and babies.
I picked up a crochet needle again after maybe 5 months. I still enjoy it and I love all the cute hat ideas. I need to make some for my photography props. I have a few orders for people and I think I'm going to start advertising on FB, if people want to order.
I love love cooking. And the plan is to try new recipes every Sunday. Troy and I are going to try a little bit more difficult recipes, we'll see how that goes.
Other things I do:
Doula- never got certified, unfortunately. My deadline was when Kailee was a newborn and although I had all my births and good reviews. I didn't have time to write my essays... But I can still Doula, just not certified
Yoga- love yoga, did it quit often before. Almost was thinking of training to be a yoga instructor. But I rarely do yoga now... :(
Scrapbooking- went on a craze a few years ago. It can be expensive and time consuming. No way would Kailee let me scrapbook, she'd destroy all the papers, pictures and what nots
Certified Infant massage intructor- have yet to teach a class
Well I can't think of any other ones just yet... oh yeah Blogger... not a very good one though. haahaha

I have an amazing man in my life. He's a great husband and father. I have no doubt he will be here for me and my children always. I'm happy to celebrate this day now. He deserves to be celebrated! I love him with all my heart!
Here's Troy as a little boy with his Dad and Pawpaw. I framed this pic for him as his gift
I've got tattoos, a bad ass tattoo to be more specific! I'm a liberal, open minded, "straight, but not narrow", for gay rights = equality, progressive "Christian", for the legalization of Marijuana, annoyed with over censorship in America, I use foul language and it's ok, and I plan on raising Kailee with an open mind, but not so open that she loses her values.
So here's my tattoo experience:
Freaking out a little here. I wasn't sure if I could handle the pain.
Here's Ronnie tatting me up. That shit hurt! But I took it like a champ! for 2 1/2 hrs!
Isn't it gorgeous? I absolutely LOVE it! He did a phenomenal job. I'm sooo happy!

I've stopped taking OxyElitePlus for a few weeks, but I'm still maintaining my weight loss. I'm loving fitting my "skinny" clothes. I'm not skinny, nor do I want to be. I've got boobs, hips and a butt and I like my curves, thank you very much. But I'm at a much healthier weight and not as self conscious as before. Here's a pic of my today.
I'll get a better picture soon. Hopefully with my new tattoo that I will get this THURSDAY!!! woohoo So excited... and freaked out.

Very simple & very tasty. This is one of my favorite Filipino dishes.
*Beef round steak, or beef pieces pounded into thing medium pieces (you can use beef cubes for stew and just pound it out.)
*Medium Onion- sliced thinly
*Shoyu (soy sauce)
*Calamansi or Lemon juice
*brown or white rice
So I used this big chunk of beef. I cut it up and pounded it out till it was flat and thin.
I didn't have calamansi or lemons but I had Toyomansi, which is a mix of Soy Sauce, in Filipino it's called Toyo, and calamansi: TOYOMANSI!
But if you have calamansi juice or lemon juice you can mix the Soy Sauce & lemon juice to your taste. I like a sour kick to mine so I put a lot of lemon/calamansi.
Cut the onion into thin slices
Here's the beef marinating
now here it is with the onions. Marinate for 30mins- a few hoursNow separate the onions and saute in an pan w/ some oilcaramelize the onions slightly, then remove from pan, set asidenow add more oil to pan and saute the beef, (only beef not the marinade)
After a few minutes add in the marinade. Simmer on med heat for a few minutes. Sauce can become very strong (and concentrated sour taste, so I add some water)
You don't want your beef to be over cooked so simmer for 5 -10 minutes
Serve over brown (or white) rice and enjoy!

So today is the start of our potty training adventures! Although Kailee has gone "shi shi" a few times in her potty before, it was more casual. But today I'm diving all the way into the world of potty training. Some parents disagree on the right time to potty train. After 2 or when ever they are ready/showing signs of interest, is usually what you'll hear. But most other countries potty train BEFORE 2! My mom says my brother and I were potty trained way before the age of 2.
Kailee's a smart cookie. She talks really well. Repeats almost any word you ask her. She can repeat the ABC's with my help. And also can count to 10 with my help, for some reason 9 is her favorite! She helps me take the utensils out of the dishwasher, she actually insist on taking them out. She also knows when Mommy and Daddy are using the potty. She likes to sit on her potty. She also tells me when she's pooping... I wish is was before and not while, but we'll work on that. So in my opinion she's ready for potty training. Since I work only 3 days a week and have plenty of time at home, I will have the time (and hopefully the patience) to dedicate to potty training.
The method I've chosen is the "nekkid" training or using big girl panties. So being nekkid or wearing real panties helps her realize when she's going "shi shi" & "doo doo". I started today around lunch time. We've had 2 accidents so far... But when she was going "shi shi" in her panty she screamed out, "Oh No!" and I rushed her to her potty. So I'll keep you updated when I have time in between, cleaning the floor of "shi shi", washing dirty painties and constantly watching Kailee for any sign she needs to go!
Wish me Luck!!

MassagebyKristina.blogspot.com and adding my business to Yelp! In hopes that I could get some good reviews on there. I have great friends who are spreading the word and referring me to others. I appreciate it so much! Hopefully soon I can quit the spa job and do out call massage "full time". Troys' schedule changes and he also gets overtime which causes some conflict w/ my work schedule. We now have to find childcare for Kailee on those days, which is not something I would like to do. So I'm crossing my fingers and putting positive energy out there!

* My Dad legally changed his name to Bubba - he's a winner... NOT!
* I had an imaginary boyfriend when I was little and his name was Zach Morris - oh Zach...
* I tied my shoes in front of a door in 1st grade. The door opened, hit my head, I couldn't breath, ran to the nurses office, nurse was refilling toilet paper in her bathroom, I fainted - moral of the story? Never tie your shoe in front of a door, dummy!
* I have moles on 2 fingers - strange place for a mole
* I kiss my dog on the lips - he's my dog, I would never do this w/ any other dog, yuck!
* I love to smell my Daughters stinky feet - sniiiffff!
* I knew I loved my Husband on our 4th day together - when you know, you know
* I had a mean old 2nd grade Catholic school teacher. He threw a book at a student once - he was horrible
* I can not, not pop a pimple - yes it's a problem
* I can speak Tagalog fluently - I like to surprise people when they start talking smack that they think I can't understand
* When I was little, I once put salt in the bath and waited (and waited... and waited) for my legs to turn into a mermaid tail. - I watched Splash! way to many times.

I got a hair cut just recently and realized I really need to take care of myself. And stop using being a Mom as an excuse to let myself go. I will have cute hair. I will NOT leave the house in sweat pants and a t-shirt. I will brush my teeth... wait... haha Just Kidding! of course I brush my teeth!
Ok that's it for now. But let me share this link with you: Curves Ahead
*warning there is some tasteful nudity*

First, Lord: No tattoos. May neither Chinese symbol for truth nor Winnie-the-Pooh holding the FSU logo stain her tender haunches.
May she be Beautiful but not Damaged, for it’s the Damage that draws the creepy soccer coach’s eye, not the Beauty.
When the Crystal Meth is offered, May she remember the parents who cut her grapes in half And stick with Beer.
Guide her, protect her
When crossing the street, stepping onto boats, swimming in the ocean, swimming in pools, walking near pools, standing on the subway platform, crossing 86th Street, stepping off of boats, using mall restrooms, getting on and off escalators, driving on country roads while arguing, leaning on large windows, walking in parking lots, riding Ferris wheels, roller-coasters, log flumes, or anything called “Hell Drop,” “Tower of Torture,” or “The Death Spiral Rock ‘N Zero G Roll featuring Aerosmith,” and standing on any kind of balcony ever, anywhere, at any age.
Lead her away from Acting but not all the way to Finance. Something where she can make her own hours but still feel intellectually fulfilled and get outside sometimes And not have to wear high heels.
What would that be, Lord? Architecture? Midwifery? Golf course design? I’m asking You, because if I knew, I’d be doing it, Youdammit.
May she play the Drums to the fiery rhythm of her Own Heart with the sinewy strength of her Own Arms, so she need Not Lie With Drummers.
Grant her a Rough Patch from twelve to seventeen. Let her draw horses and be interested in Barbies for much too long, For childhood is short – a Tiger Flower blooming Magenta for one day – And adulthood is long and dry-humping in cars will wait.
O Lord, break the Internet forever, That she may be spared the misspelled invective of her peers And the online marketing campaign for Rape Hostel V: Girls Just Wanna Get Stabbed.
And when she one day turns on me and calls me a Bitch in front of Hollister, Give me the strength, Lord, to yank her directly into a cab in front of her friends, For I will not have that Shit. I will not have it.
And should she choose to be a Mother one day, be my eyes, Lord, that I may see her, lying on a blanket on the floor at 4:50 A.M., all-at-once exhausted, bored, and in love with the little creature whose poop is leaking up its back.
“My mother did this for me once,” she will realize as she cleans feces off her baby’s neck. “My mother did this for me.” And the delayed gratitude will wash over her as it does each generation and she will make a Mental Note to call me. And she will forget. But I’ll know, because I peeped it with Your God eyes.
- Nearly 18 months old, wow where did the time go?
- Sweet as can be. I hate to rub it in but she's such a good girl. I don't quit need that wine yet...
- She's my little echo, repeating everything I say. Uh oh better watch my potty mouth. She tried to say the SH word after I said it the other week.
- She's obsessed with chap stick. Always trying to put it on her lips. Also anything resembling nail polish or nail clippers, she pretends to polish or clip her toe nails. Silly girl!
- her favorite artist on mommy's play list is Adele. Oh a girl after my own heart! She even "sings" along.
- Started working 3 days a week at a Spa. Which is 5 mins away from home. I walk to work sometimes. Very convenient.
- Chopped off my "mom-do" hair. No more pony tail for this Mommy! I got a really cute A-line bob, with a block of red color in the front. I love it!
- I'm eating better and working out and I've lost almost 10 lbs! woohoo yay me!
- I'm really fighting the urge to get a tattoo. Oh how I want it. Right now! (I've wanted a colorful paisley tattoo on my left shoulder blade flowing up and a little bit around my shoulder.)
- I've enrolled in some Photography workshops that start in June. I want to get more serious about my photography and hopefully do it on the side
- working at the Shipyard
- growing his hair and beard out. Says he's going for the Johnny Depp look.... lol
- He's lost some weight too. Me likey!
- He's promised... or agreed due to my constant nagging, to start renovating our house. Yay!
So that's it for now. Ciao!

Kailee's almost 18 months! WOW time flies when you have a little one. She's such a talker. She likes to imitate whatever Mommy and Daddy say. So Mommy and Daddy now have to watch our dirty mouths! I've started working part time at a Spa very near our home. And I'm going to start taking photography classes/workshops to get more serious about photography. I'm excited!
